Hyunkag Cho, Ph.d 

Dr. Hyunkag Cho is an associate professor in the School of Social Work at Michigan State University. His research has focused on intimate partner violence (IPV), with a specific emphasis on help-seeking behaviors among IPV victims, including immigrants. Rigorous data collection from ethnic minority communities and collaboration with culturally competent scholars are emphasized throughout his research. He has worked with a local domestic violence shelter to develop service protocols for those with limited English Proficiency and served as an interpreter for Korean American survivors.
